Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Facebook announced its third-quarter earnings. The company reported $2.02 billion in revenue, up from $1.26 billion in Q3 of last year. Google’s continuing to sprout its Google Glass project, this time launching an accessory store for the device. Lastly, The Washington Post reports the NSA is scooping up information from Yahoo and Google’s data center connections around the world.
