So what is the QX10?
According to Sony it is a “lens style camera”. Basically it’s just like any other functional cameras but without a screen, but still having lens, that is running from the glass at its front with a sensor at its back. And the main purpose of it is to capture an image and then pass it on to your smartphone or any such device. While the best thing about it is that although it is a creation by Sony, it doesn’t mean that it can only work on Sony smartphones instead you can use it easily on any iOS or Android device.

So basically it has a lens just like a part of a camera along with all the required instruments that lets the user connect it to its device such as the smartphone. And it also has a sensor plus a removable and rechargeable battery that help to power it.
It was also stated by Sony that the QX10 idea was officially taken from the WX200 compact camera with the 10x optical zoom lens and an 18-MP sensor in it. It has sturdy plastic and metal finishing meaning that its quality is pretty good and it is available in two different colors that you could choose from according to your smartphone. These two colors are black and white.
It has a measurement of 62.4×61.8×33.3 mm and weighs about 90g, thus it’s portable and small enough to easily slip inside your pants pocket. It’s easy to function with just a single click on the power button that starts up the device and the telescopic lens extends.
