How many people actually use BBM after downloading it is a debatable topic, but in the meanwhile, Windows Phone users will also be able to download the app this summer. What’s more, the Windows Phone version won’t be hobbled, or lack in features compared to its Android and iOS counterparts.
The app will bring features such as BBM Voice, BBM Groups with up to 50 people, as well as BBM Channels. Also, the app will get stickers as well. The app should be made available for free on the platform.
Perhaps the recent sale of WhatsApp, might have made BBM reconsider about launching a WP port of the app. After all, each and every user counts. In the meantime, Windows Phone users will soon have not one, but two new messengers on their phones.
