With all the buzz and hype around the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1
update, you’d think that the engineers will probably sit back and soak
in all the critical acclaim that they get, right? Well, not exactly.
The only thing we know from the leak is that Windows Phone 8.5 may no longer support secondary Live Tiles. That is believed to be a part of the radical UI change that is expected to be introduced in the next version of the OS to keep things fresh and unique.
The emulator also reveals that with Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft would allow Live Tiles to refresh every one minute, instead of every 30 minutes that is there on Windows Phone 8. We can see battery indicator apps and the likes being that the biggest beneficiaries of the change.
