It seems like the manufacturers have finally realized the importance
of bringing timely updates to their phones and keeping them up to date
in order to stay relevant in the crowded extremely smartphone market.
Besides bringing in Android 4.4.2, the update also adds feature like the Knock Code on the phone, that allows you to unlock the phone using Morse-code style taps on specific regions of the phone’s, without having the need to press the power button before. The update also adds improvements to the Bluetooth Car-Kit that now shows notifications for messages as well as album art when music is being played. The phone also gets Split Window according to the changelog.
Unfortunately, the update doesn’t bring the rumored 4K video recording to the phone has many had believed it would earlier. The update has already started seeding in South Korea and should be available in other markets as well.
