Seems like arch rivals LG and Samsung are at it again. Days after LG revealed its Smart Bulb, Samsung has also gone ahead and announced its own version of the same, though with some key differences.

Unlike other smart bulbs that connect using WiFi to your smartphone or tablet, Samsung’s Smart Bulb uses Bluetooth instead to pair up with your device. This also gives users the ability to connect up to 64 bulbs at once to a single device, without the need for any additional hardware. The bulb can also dim to just 10 percent of its maximum luminosity, but will radiate light that’s more or less white.
Each bulb can light up your place for up to 15,000 hours, that translates in to a life span of around 10 years. Samsung hasn’t said anything on the pricing front yet.
