USA Based A Maine Company has developed a new robot for the protection of the soldiers and SWAT teams. The name of the robot is SWAT Robot which will keep SWAT teams and other first responders safe in standoffs and while confronting armed suspects.
It can also provide cover from suspected explosive devices, like those set off at the Boston Marathon and other terrorist attacks and bombing. It is actually a lifeguard for the soldiers or the fast responders.
Howe and Howe Technologies Inc. developed the machine with Massachusetts State Police. It has been unveiled at the Sanford Police Department. The company is renowned for and unmanned tanks with names like “Ripsaw” and “Riptide” for the military and Hollywood filmmakers.
Now the company came with the high tech robotic police shield that sits atop a miniature, remote-controlled tank-like vehicle.
Hopefully, the SWAT Robot will work when fast move needed for the police.
