Google has announced its earnings for Q4 13 and its raining money at Mountain View. The search giant managed to rake in $16.86 billion in revenue in Q4, up 17 percent over the same period last year.

The GAAP operating income for the fourth quarter stood at $3.92 billion.
Google-owned sites generated a whopping $10.55 billion, or 67% of total Google segment revenues. Its partner sites brought in $3.52 billion, while other revenues stood at $1.65 billion. Paid clicks grew by 13 percent quarter on quarter, but the cost per click was down 2 percent compared to the last quarter. In what might be Motorola’s last contribution (or should we say last loss), the division brought in $1.24 billion, down from $1.51 billion an year ago.
