The Lumia 525 is the successor of the most popular Windows Phone 8 device till date, the Lumia 520. The Lumia 525 comes with the same design as that of Lumia 520 with the main change being the amount of RAM available. The Lumia 525 comes with 1GB of RAM instead of the 512MB on Lumia 520. This is a major change as many apps and games in the Windows Phone store are limited to 1GB RAM and above devices.
So with the launch of Lumia 525, users in the budget or entry level category can also play these games. The Lumia 525 comes in variety of colors including Black, White, Orange, Yellow. We got the Yellow variant with us and here is the unboxing of the device.
The box comes with Lumia 525, black earphones, standard charger and also the microUSB cable along with the 1430mAh battery for the device.
The back cover is removable and you need to remove it to insert the Micro SIM and also the microSD card in case you want to expand the storage. The back cover has a glossy finish to it and comes with good quality plastics.
