Plant Nanny App Finally Come to Windows Phone

One of the common problem I had faced with my son that he keeps forgetting that he needs to drink water regularly. Cant blame him being so energetic, kids really don’t give so much thought.

Plant Nanny is a popular Android and iOS game for Kids which help them into drinking water regularly by getting them hooked with small cute plant that grows regularly as they drink water. This app was BEST APP OF 2013 in Apple Store and now has made its way to Windows Phone store also.

This game creates a virtual environment by letting you have a flower put and then a small plant in the pot. Its placed along with the window side to get sunlight. These basic concept when explained to the kids with idea that if you want to see the plant grow properly, you need to drink water and press the cup icon in the game, will turn into a good habit.

Setting up is simple:

• Choose a plant.
• Choose a pot.
• Create a profile for your kid so an average time and amount of water can be decided.
• This is directly related with the plant i.e. the kid need to drink that much of water to grow a healthy plant.
• You can let kids choose cup designs, so it becomes even more personal.

That said, there is one more thing your kid will learn here. The life cycle of a plant. The game gets into next level when your plant grows big, flower and then you get seeds. You can then collect seeds and plan them outside your house and so on.
If your kid likes a particular vegetable, you may choose a different plant from the store. Yup, there is a store available where you get 6 plants for free, what actually costs are the seeds and water of life. The latter helps plant grow a little faster but then you should not be using it too much.

The game is well designed and suits perfectly for kids. There is no clutter, heavy sound or anything that will get your kids into too much of excitement. Best part is making kids learn to drink water and know its importance. The app is free but comes with ad support which can be turned off by buying the ad cleaner for $0.99 or Rs 55.
