In a move that would come as a surprise, Samsung could soon be
launching another Windows Phone handset after launching the ATIV SE
today.
According to the leak, ATIV Core will come with a 4.5 inch 720p display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor. Unlike the ATIV SE, it will run on Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box. It will also be packing a 2,100mAh battery, 1GB RAM and most likely an 8 megapixel camera on its back.
There’s no word on when the phone will be announced, but a timeline around May should be expected, given that Nokia’s Windows Phone handsets will be hitting the market around the same time.
