After a long wait of finally downloading the whole 3.5-GB file and then installing it onto your computer or laptop you have finally entered into the world of Windows 8.1 and apart from the new snazzy desktop wallpaper the start screen hasn’t changed that much at all.

Microsoft Windows 8.1 (Part-2)

The only main difference is that you can now scroll downwards to see whatever has been installed rather than clicking the right mouse button and then choosing “All Apps”, which is a good change to it.

The biggest complaints that were stated by Windows 8 users was the removal of the Start Button in it, that included all the list of programs that were installed in it in the previous version of Windows, but instead just by tapping on the Windows 8 key brought up the same Start screen, which became quite confusing for many users.

Microsoft Windows 8.1 (Part-2)

This was lucky restored within the Windows 8.1 on to the lower left of the screen onto the desktop, and best of all it still functions in the same manner as it did in all the previous versions of Windows that came out before Windows 8.

Another great feature that has been introduced with the Windows 8.1 is that now your computer can directly boot up to the desktop rather that going through different annoying menus that randomly popped up whenever you moved the mouse over the screen, this all means that you can now avoid all of the Metro user interface aside from the apps list, which is very useful for computers or laptops that don’t have the option of Touchscreen.

Another really weird thing about the Windows 8 was the built-in search option, as you had to type in some of the terms and then the operating system used to ask you where exactly do you need to search which actually wasn’t such a great search option at all, this actually finishes the point of actually searching for something at all.

While in Windows 8.1 the option for searching as massively increased and improved. When using the search option in Windows 8.1 it shows results from YouTube, Wikipedia as also by Bing.
