If you’ve been waiting for that Tizen phone from Samsung, chances are that you might have to wait a lot more than you previously anticipated. An official from Samsung Electronics’ Media Solution Center has revealed that the project has been delayed once again.

Previously, Samsung was expected to announce Tizen running phones at MWC and release them later in the first half of the year.
Samsung hasn’t given any reasons for the delay, but recent report about Japan’s NTT dropping Tizen phone from its line up due to present market conditions could have added to the decision. The market is already crowded enough, with even the likes of Windows Phone and BlackBerry fighting for leftovers from iOS and Android’s sheer dominance. Chances are that the Tizen phone could see a tepid response if launched right now.
If Samsung hasn’t already decided to shelve the project, we might see a more powerful phone in the future with 64-bit processing power and LTE-A.
