LG announced the L Series III trio of entry-level and mid-range 3G smartphones. LG L90, L70, and L40 will be showcased during MWC in Barcelona with customized Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

LG’s L series of smartphones have been a big contributor in pushing the sales numbers for the company and the L III series should continue to do that in 2014. The company has announced trio of smartphones in the L III series, dubbed as the L90, L70, and L40. The phones shall make an official appearance at the MWC.
Starting with the L90, the phone comes packing a 4.7 inch qHD display, along with a 1.2GHz quad core processor, a gig of RAM, 8GB internal memory, an 8 megapixel rear shooter and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. To power it all is a giant 2,540mAh battery.
Moving on to the L70, the phone again features a 1.2GHz quad core processor and packs a 4.5 inch WVGA (480 x 800) display. Other specs include 1GB RAM, 8GB memory, 2,100mAh batter and an 8/5MP camera depending on the market.
Lastly, the L40 has been equipped with the same processor. The screen size is 3.5 inch resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The entry level phone offers the same quad core processor, 4GB memory, 512MB RAM. It will come with either a 1,700mAh or 1,540mAh removable battery.
The phones will all come running on Android KitKat 4.4 and should feature perks like Quick Window. We shall see them more closely at the MWC.
