Samsung is the world’s number one smartphone maker for a reason. And that reason is keeping its customers happy. Well, nothing says happy customers like timely updates and Samsung US has just listed the devices that will be getting updated to Android 4.4 KitKat. The list is quite comprehensive and includes the following devices:

Smartphones:
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II
  • Samsung Galaxy S4
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 mini
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom
  • Samsung Galaxy S III
  • Samsung Galaxy S III mini
  • Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3
  • Samsung Galaxy Light
Tablets:
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
Samsung has covered almost all high end devices from this year and last year, while also covering some mid tier ones. Significant names that have been left out include Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and a few others. Although, since the list has been outed by Samsung US, we might some of them get the update eventually as they are not included in the lists probably due to the unavailability in the US.
