The oft-leaked upcoming flagship, the HTC M8, will finally be announced next month at a couple of parallel events in New York and London.

By now, we’ve learnt much about the HTC’s upcoming flagship codenamed M8. The only major thing left to check of the list was the launch date and today none other than HTC themselves have confirmed that. The company has sent out invites for a press event on March 25th at parallel locations including London and New York. Although the invite doesn’t mention anything about the M8 specifically, it is pretty much obvious.
According to rumors, the successor to the HTC One will come packing a 4.9-5 inch 1080p display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 800/805 processor. It will also feature 3GB RAM, dual UltraPixel cameras on the back (probably of higher resolution than the One) and Android KitKat. It’s still unconfirmed, but that’s what most of the leaks point towards.
HTC will still participate in MWC, but is probably saving its best for the last, since it would want to keep all the limelight to itself. With Galaxy S5 almost certain to be announced on February 24th, it remains to be seen if HTC will be late to the party.
