Announces: Updates for Offline Maps Now Available on Windows Phone 8

Things change pretty quickly on planet Earth and to keep you updated with those changes, Nokia has updated its offline maps.

We aren’t talking about the app, but the maps themselves that have been updated. The update isn’t specific for any region, but has been rolled out for every country it seems.
The updated maps are expected to bring fixes, new road and landmark additions and more up to date information. The update can be downloaded by going to Settings>>Applications>>Maps>>Check for updates. With the mapping division staying with Nokia after sale to Microsoft, it sure needs to keep it updated to take on the competition (Google Maps, of course).
