Nokia Glance is a feature on Lumia Windows Phones which shows users with notifications and also the clock on the display even when it is turned off. This feature was recently updated with the Black Update and allowed users to add a background image along with clock and app notifications. Now Nokia has added another feature to the Glance, the ability to add custom text to the Glance screen.
The new Glance app allows you to display a text message which can be configured. Once you have updated the Glance app, you need to restart the phone to complete the installation.

Under the Glance settings, you can see the option Glance Screen Info, where you can select my text or lock screen notifications. If you select my text, you can add personalized text and also choose the text size from small, medium and large.
