The Xbox One hasn't been selling as well as the PlayStation 4
on a global level, and that's partly due to pricing -- in the UK,
Microsoft's system costs a lofty £429 ($713) versus Sony's £349 ($580).
Seems like the Xbox One isn’t really doing all that well against the Sony PlayStation 4. The company has discount the Xbox One by a good 100 pounds in the UK and it is now retailing for £400, a good £30 price discount. It’s still more than the £349 that the PS4 commands, but then it comes with Kinect bundled along. The new price will start reflecting starting February 28th.
What’s more, the company is also shipping a special edition of the console bundled with a download code for Titanfall and a month of Xbox Live Gold subscription for the same price as the regular console. The limited edition Xbox One will ship in the country from March 14th, while the American counterparts should see it available in stores from March 11th for $499.
