HTC Butterfly was a decent Android smartphone that was lost in HTC One’s limelight. Nonetheless, the company is making sure that the phone stays up to date atleast.

Not exactly the latest and the greatest, but the phone is now getting the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. The update is available over-the-air and weighs a hefty 500MB. The update also brings Sense 5.5 UI to the phone.
Other changes include improved HTC Blinkfeed, Zoe camera mode, GIF creator from Zoe or burst shots, and other under the hood performance changes. Meanwhile, HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR (who broke this story in the first place) has also revealed that the Droid DNA on Verizon won’t be getting the Android 4.3 update and would directly be making the switch to Android 4.4. No word on whether the HTC Butterfly would be getting the same update or not.
