What these latest leaked Windows Phone 8.1 screenshots reveal, will be welcomed by everyone with less native storage on their Windows Phones ( 70% of Windows phone installed base).

When Windows Phone 8.1 details were leaked, one of the “Wanted” feature was available as option –Installing apps to SD card–but then this option was only for new apps and not existing apps. This created a doubt and a point of confusion if a user suddenly needs to move an app to SD later to create some space.
Good news is, Move to SD card will be available on per app basis. Molrad on twitter has shared a screenshot confirming this option.
Like I said that this option is available on per app basis and it should be under Settings > Phone storage > Apps+ Games where all the apps will be listed.  Right now, this place just list installed apps along with space occupied on the phone memory. Once the 8.1 update rolls out, you will be able to tap on each app and get the option to MOVE TO SD.
Not only this, the new storage option will also let you uninstall the app right from there instead of the current method where you need to long press on any app and then choose uninstall.
The screenshot also shows that Photos section will have a new option as “Delete Burst Photos” which will remove un-saved burst photos from the Albums section except the camera roll. IMO this will help users get rid of the OTHER Storage as well where lot of data gets stuck. We did talk something like this on our Other Storage Issue Post.
This feature is a warm welcome by all the users, though the developers can lock down this option i.e. in case its a heavy app which performs better on phone memory than SD card.
