If you’re a news junkie, then you probably know that it’s much more efficient to use an RSS reader rather than opening each website with the browser.

Recently we covered the PressReader app which allows you to read newspaper from across the globe. Now if you are used to reading RSS feeds, then here is a beautiful new app for Windows Phone called Flipmag. Flipmag is a RSS reader for Windows Phone which comes pre-loaded with feeds from more than 100 popular sources.
One you install and run the app for the first time, you will be asked to select the topics you want to read from a list of 14 topics. Once this is done, the app will populate the RSS feeds based on these topics. You can also manually add RSS feed of your favorite website. The interface of the app is stunning and actually feels like the Windows Phone start screen.

The app comes with slick animations while switching feeds and moving from one article to another. The app has metro UI all along and you can resize and rearrange the magazine tiles in the app which is again an awesome feature.
Features:
  • Read from over 100 over news sources or add your own
  • Metro UI that lets you resize and rearrange Mag Tiles
  • Beautiful and slick animations
  • Flip to read articles in a magazine-like fashion
Flipmag is currently in beta, so it is not complete and perfect. You might encounter bugs but we expect this to be sorted out once the development is complete. If you use RSS feeds on Windows Phone, then this is a must have app.
The app is available for download free of cost in the Windows Phone store.
