The rumors and leaks around the Galaxy S5 are heating up and we’re sure to get many more until its launch on February 24th. Today’s leak comes from benchmarking tool AnTuTu, which reveals that Samsung might release two versions of the Galaxy S5. Rumor has it that Samsung might follow Apple’s strategy with iPhone 5s and 5c and release a premium and a slightly toned down version of the Galaxy S5.
According to AnTuTu, the premium version (SM-G900R4) of the phone would come packing a QHD (2K) display, Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GBRAM, 32 gigs of internal storage, 16MP primary camera and a 2.1MP front facing unit. It will come with Android 4.4.2 out of the box.
The other version of the phone (SM-G900H) will come with a 1080p display and pack a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 522 CPU. It will also be sporting 2GB RAM, Mali-T628 GPU and 16GB internal storage. The camera and the Android version remain the same as G900R4.
As far as the scores are concerNow, although not confirmed, but Samsung could use premium materials in the construction of the G900R4, while the G900H might follow the plasticky build of its ancestors. As for the scores, apparently the more premium version of the phone could only manage to score 31,483 points, which is even lower than the score of the Note 3. We assume the QHD display is the culrpit for that, putting extra load on the GPU. The G900H on the other hand scored 35,445 which is higher than both the other version and the Note 3.
