Custom Ringtones: With GDR3 on your Nokia Lumia 625 you can easily add custom ringtones to instant messages, emails, voicemails, and reminders. You’ll also be able to add custom ringtones to contacts for text messages, so you’ll know who’s texting you without even looking.

Screen Rotation: With GDR3 for Windows Phone 8 and Nokia Lumia Black you’ll be able to lock the screen in one position, so you can more easily read a page even when the phone moves around. This is a simple switch that you can turn off and is found on the Settings page.

Driving Mode: Working with a connected Bluetooth device, Driving Mode is designed to limit notifications on the lock screen—including texts, calls, and quick status alerts—until you’re safely parked. You can even configure Driving Mode to send automatic replies to people who call or text when you’re behind the wheel, to let them know you’ll get back to them.

Storage Settings: These have been improved with the Nokia Lumia Black update so you’ll be able to free up space on your phone and manage temporary files easier. As you can see, it breaks down what you have stored both on the main memory but also any microSD storage.

Nokia Camera: This app combines Nokia Pro Camera and Smart Camera to simplify the photo-taking experience, and ensure you get the perfect shot every time. The app has been available for Lumia PureView smartphones since last year, but it’s now coming to the rest of the WP8 Lumia range. The latest Nokia Camera update also brings raw DNG support for Lumia 1020 owners.

App Folder: This brand new app that gives your Nokia Lumia experience even more options by allowing you to personalise and organise your Start screen. With App folders you can group similar apps and settings into one folder, a tile, on your Start screen.

Nokia Storyteller: The app arranges your photos for you, by date and by place, making it easier to tell the stories behind your pictures, and give extra context through the close integration of interactive maps.
